Ancor Marine Grade Tinned Duplex Flat Cable: Reliable, Corrosion-Resistant Solution for Marine and Harsh Environments
Ancor Marine Grade Tinned Duplex Flat Cable is engineered for durability and protection in demanding marine and harsh environment applications. Constructed with high-quality, tin-electroplated copper wire strands, this duplex flat cable resists corrosion while maintaining superior conductivity. The cable’s two individually insulated conductors are encased in a premium vinyl (PVC) flat jacket, which not only provides added protection against environmental factors but also allows for easy writing to label circuits on larger jobs.
The rugged PVC jacket shields this cable from saltwater, battery acid, gasoline, oil, UV radiation, and other harsh elements, making it ideal for long-term marine installations. Ultra-flexible Type 3 stranding offers increased durability, resisting vibration-induced fatigue and further enhancing corrosion resistance. Rated for 600 volts AC/DC, this cable’s vinyl insulation is designed to withstand up to 105°C (221°F) in dry conditions and 75°C (167°F) when wet, remaining flexible in extreme cold down to -40°F/C. Available in a black and red color-coded configuration with a white PVC jacket, and in spools of 100, 250, or 500 feet, this duplex cable meets or exceeds UL 1426, U.S. Coast Guard CFR Title 46, and ABYC standards, providing reliable performance for a range of critical applications.
