Del City’s hi-amp auto reset circuit breakers are designed to provide reliable, continuous protection for DC applications during overcurrent conditions. Known as Type I Circuit Breakers, these units use an internal composite alloy material that deflects to separate the contacts when an overcurrent is detected, automatically resetting to the run mode once the breaker cools. This cycling process continues until the overcurrent source is corrected or removed, ensuring consistent protection. Designed for easy panel installation, these breakers combine functionality with convenience.

Splash and dustproof to IP67 standards, Del City’s auto reset circuit breakers are engineered for durability in demanding environments, including engine compartments and bilge areas. They meet SAE J1625, J1171, and UL1500 ignition protection standards, ensuring compliance with industry safety requirements. Rated up to 32V, these breakers feature a thermal plastic housing (UL rated 94V0) and a stud size of 1/4" with 28 threads per inch, offering a torque rating of 100 in-lb (11.3Nm) max. With an operating temperature range of -32°C to 82°C (-25°F to 180°F) and storage capability from -34°C to 149°C (-30°F to 300°F), these breakers deliver dependable performance under various conditions.
