Dill Blox Modular Connector System: Flexible and Easy-to-Assemble Power Distribution Panels
The Dill Blox system is a modular connector system designed for flexible and easy assembly of power distribution panels. Each Dill Blox module features the unique "Dill Edge" on all four sides, allowing unlimited combinations of modules to be connected without requiring expensive tooling. With standard dimensions of 1.5"L x 1.5"W x 1.0"H, these modules are ideal for creating customizable power distribution panels.
Constructed from glass-reinforced nylon, Dill Blox modules offer high temperature resistance and dimensional stability. Their interlocking design provides excellent rigidity, and each component connection point includes a secondary locking feature to ensure terminal retention and circuit integrity. The system is designed for easy assembly without special tools. Panels are built from the rear by organizing modules into rows, inserting locking wedges, and snapping them together. A simple tap with a block and hammer ensures the wedges are securely seated.
For wiring, it’s recommended to insert the bus bars first, followed by the terminals, using secondary locks for additional security. These locks prevent terminal pushbacks and ensure proper terminal placement.
