MEGA® Fuse Holder: Ultra-High Current Protection for Heavy-Duty Applications

The MEGA® fuse holder is designed to provide reliable, bolt-down connections for high-current applications, including battery and alternator connections. Ideal for use with heavy-duty cables, the holder’s interconnecting pins allow multiple block configurations, ensuring a secure and flexible setup for demanding electrical systems. It features M8 threaded studs, hex nuts with lock washers, and a protective cover to ensure secure and safe connections.

With a maximum voltage rating of 32V DC and a current rating of up to 500A, this MEGA® fuse holder is perfect for applications requiring ultra-high current protection. Del City also offers specialized MEGA® fuse holders for MEGA® Flex, Blue Sea Systems, and Blue Sea Safety fuses. MEGA® fuses are sold separately.

The Flex MEGA® fuse holder is designed for use with MEGA® bolt-down fuses, offering robust high-current protection up to 500A. Its flexible cover allows cable entry from virtually any direction, making it ideal for large wire sizes and ring terminal stack-ups. The holder features a base with slots for easy mounting using tie wraps, while its dovetail design allows multiple holders to interlock, creating a high-power distribution block. For multi-holder applications, tin-plated copper bus bars are available to enhance power distribution. >

Rated for up to 32V DC, with a temperature range of -40 to +125°C, the Flex MEGA® fuse holder meets UL94 V-0 flammability standards, ensuring safe and reliable performance. MEGA® fuses are sold separately and can be used with any MEGA® style fuse.

This MEGA® fuse holder offers an economical solution for fusing circuits ranging from 100 to 300 amps, making it ideal for high-current applications. Designed with an insulating cover and breakouts, it meets ABYC/USCG insulation requirements for added safety in marine and automotive environments. The fuse holder is built with stainless steel studs, providing resistance to corrosion and enabling high torque for secure connections. Its UL94-V0 base offers excellent resistance to high heat.

With a maximum voltage rating of 32V DC and support for wire sizes up to 4/0 AWG, this fuse holder is compatible with both MEGA® and AMG fuses. It features 5/16"-18 (M8) terminal studs and mounts with #10 (M5) screws. MEGA® fuses are sold separately.

Ignition-Protected MEGA® Fuse Holder: Secure Protection for High-Current Circuits

This ignition-protected MEGA® fuse holder is designed for use on gasoline-powered equipment with circuits rated from 100A to 300A. The sealed cover safeguards the fuses from harsh environments and satisfies ABYC/USCG insulation standards, ensuring reliable performance in marine and automotive applications. The cover features breakouts that allow wire access in three directions, offering flexible installation options.

Constructed with one-piece stainless steel flange nuts, this fuse holder provides secure and corrosion-resistant connections. It meets ISO 8846 and SAE J1171 external ignition protection requirements when the cover is securely in place. Rated at IP66, the fuse holder ensures durability against water and dust ingress.

Supporting wire sizes up to 4/0 AWG, the holder accepts both MEGA® and AMG fuses, with M8 terminal studs and mounting holes that accommodate 1/4" (M6) screws. MEGA® fuses are sold separately.
