ProMariner Multi Battery Isolators, featuring gold-plated terminals for improved conductivity, are designed to enhance charging efficiency while preventing the total discharge of your starter battery. These solid-state devices ensure electrical current flows in one direction, allowing energy from the alternators to be distributed evenly across multiple batteries. This setup enables simultaneous charging of multiple batteries while isolating each one during operation, preventing fully charged batteries from discharging into undercharged ones.
These isolators are ideal for systems with one or two alternators connected to multiple battery banks, ensuring reliable power distribution without the risk of draining fully charged batteries. Designed for use with negative ground alternator systems, they are not recommended for use with self-energizing alternators. The isolators prevent fully charged batteries from discharging into undercharged batteries, maintaining optimal battery health across multiple banks. Designed for negative ground alternator systems, they support one or two alternators connected to multiple batteries, ensuring safe and efficient charging.
These isolators are rated for alternator systems ranging from 70 to 130 amps and can operate on 6, 12, 24, 32, and 36-volt setups. The easy-to-install diode-based design eliminates the need for a ground wire, and each terminal includes insulator boots to prevent short circuits. ProMariner Battery Isolators are solid-state devices which allow electrical current to flow in one direction only. They efficiently utilize the energy produced by the alternators and distribute the power evenly to each battery. The isolators allows the batteries to charge together but isolate each battery during operation. They allow one or two alternators to be connected to multiple battery banks without fear of fully charged batteries discharging into undercharged batteries. Please note that these products are meant to be used with negative ground alternator systems, and are not recommended for use with self energizing style alternators.
