RELiON® LT Series Lithium Batteries: Cold-Weather Performance with Integrated Heating

RELiON® LT Series lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries are specifically designed for cold-weather performance, capable of charging in temperatures as low as -20°C (-4°F). With an integrated heater, these batteries automatically warm up and charge efficiently, eliminating the need for external heating components. The LT Series batteries are safe, stable, and generate minimal heat, making them ideal for cold-temperature marine and RV applications. They offer a fast-charging, long-lasting, and maintenance-free solution in freezing environments.

With a nominal voltage of 12.8V, RELiON® LT batteries are easy to install as a direct upgrade from standard batteries, thanks to their matching size, configuration, and connectivity. These batteries are capable of being connected in parallel but not in series. The integrated Battery Management System (BMS) sources 5 to 15 charging amps to power the heating element, warming the batteries in about 1 to 1.5 hours to reach optimal charging temperatures.
